A Little About Me
Hey, I’m Chris, owner of Salty Hands Countertops.
I’ve been in the construction and countertop industry for over 20 years. Before moving to the Emerald Isle area, I owned and operated Top Stone in Virginia Beach, where I worked with homeowners, contractors, builders, investors, and property managers throughout Hampton Roads.
After relocating to the Crystal Coast, I wanted to bring that experience here and create a countertop company that keeps things simple and personal.
With Salty Hands, you don’t have to spend your day driving around looking at samples. I’ll come to you, bring samples, measure your project, go over your options, and help you find something that works for your home and your budget.

Measure & Template
We create an exact template on-site so every cutout, seam, and corner lines up with your cabinets and walls.
Cut & Prep
Your slabs are cut, polished, and prepped to the template — ready for a clean, precise install.
Install & Finish
We install your tops, connect plumbing and fixtures, seal the seams, and leave the space spotless.
How to Care for Your Quartz
MSI Q Premium quartz is non-porous and never needs sealing. A little daily care keeps it looking new for years.
- Wipe spills quickly with mild soap and water
- Use trivets or hot pads under hot pots and pans
- Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbers
- Clean regularly with a soft cloth or sponge
Daily cleaning routine
- Warm water and a drop of dish soap
- Wipe with a soft microfiber cloth
- Dry with a clean towel to prevent water spots
- For stubborn residue, use a non-abrasive cleaner safe for quartz
